Ms. Kanchan Misra brings extensive teaching experience across national and international curricula, including IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate. With nearly two decades of association with the IB, she is a passionate advocate for inquiry-based learning and holistic development. A graduate and postgraduate from Delhi University, she made a heartfelt decision to leave a prestigious law program to pursue a Bachelor in Education from the Central Institute of Education, Delhi University. As a dedicated TOK and Geography educator, she thrives on exploring knowledge questions through diverse perspectives and real-world contexts. She is an IB-certified DP TOK Examiner, an MYP Individuals and Societies and Interdisciplinary Units examiner, and a Cambridge examiner for IGCSE Geography and Global Perspectives. Beyond the classroom, she serves as a Programme Leader, Evaluation Leader, Consultant, and Team Leader in the global IB community, supporting school authorization and evaluation. Her leadership journey includes roles as Head of Academics, Dean of Students, and IB Programme Coordinator for both MYP and DP.
